Religious Education
A child's religious formation is crucial to a their being a child of God. St. Gregory the Great offers religious education grades 1 - 10; preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation.
Children's Liturgy of the Word -We would like to thank all the children, teachers, and helpers who participated in last Sunday's presentation of our Living Rosary at the 10:00 am Mass. You were all wonderful and you did a great job. Today will conclude Children's Liturgy until the new school year.
Children's Liturgy of the Word - In today's Gospel our children will hear that the time had come for Jesus to say goodbye and return to his father in heaven.
A prayer to share with your children: Lord Jesus, help us to remember that you are with us always, and we need never be afraid. Help us to go out and do your work in this world until we see you again, when you come back to us at the end of time.
Upcoming Events:
Confirmation mass for our students is this Sunday, May 20 at 4:00 p.m. Please keep them in prayer as they receive the Holy Spirit through their sacrament of Confirmation.
Archdiocesan Vocation Forum will be May 31 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at St. Pius X located at 3303 Urban Crest Dr, 78209. The goal of this event is to promote vocational awareness among high school juniors, seniors and college students. Call Gloria Silva for more information.
Vacation Bible School is scheduled for the week of June 11 through 15, 2012. For more information call our office.
