Parent Volunteer Hours
St. Gregory the Great parents are required to provide service hours as a condition of their children's enrollment. The requirement is as follows:
20 hours per 2 parent family
10 hours per 1 parent family
Volunteerism is vital to the success of the St. Gregory's School community. Every parent of a St. Gregory the Great student is required to complete ten hours of volunteer time each school year. Each parent is responsible for documenting his or her volunteer time on a regular basis. The PTC is responsible for monitoring the volunteer hours. These forms will be collected on Wednesday, April 24, 2007. Failure to complete or accummulate ten hours of volunteer time for each parent will result in $50 fee per parent payable to the school no later than May 1, 2007. Report cards and school records will not be released if the fee is outstanding.
Service hours must be completed and submitted no later than April 24, 2007.

SCRIP
How scrip generates revenue for St. Gregory the Great
The Great Lakes Scrip Center acts on behalf of churches, schools and other non-profit organizations to purchase large amounts of scrip from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers. Because the scrip is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount. Our organization buys the scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and re-sells the certificates to families like yours fo full face values. The discount - from two to fifteen percent or more - is our organization's revenue.
